Optics Fans Meet at the 16th Optatec in Frankfurt

The highly exclusive optotechnology industry meet is now in preparation: P. E. Schall trade fair promoters extend their invitation to the 16th Optatec international trade fair for optical technologies, components and systems, to be held at its customary venue in Frankfurt, Germany, from the 14th through the 16th of May, 2024. Manufacturers and users of optics and image processing meet at this highly specialised, international event every two years.

Optics and photonics fans from various sectors have long since saved the dates for the next Optatec international trade fair for optical technologies, components and systems: it’s off to hall 3.1 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre from 14 to 16 May 2024, where innovations will be presented in the fields of optical components, optomechanics, optoelectronics, fibre optics, fibre-optic cables, laser components and digital microscopy, as well as processing machines and manufacturing systems for optics production.

Once every two years on a regular basis, this world-class, highly specialised leading trade fair inspires visitors with new products and solutions covering all aspects of light. Visitors experience top technologies related to cameras, lasers, materials, optics and light. Optotechnology and image processing are booming topics for the future, because they’re becoming increasingly important in all industrial and non-industrial sectors. Optical technologies are being driven by ever-stricter quality requirements, as well as by expanding use of automation, digitalisation and autonomous systems. Optical technologies are indispensable in many spheres of life, for example eyeglasses and microscopy in the field of cell diagnostics.
