Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) is a versatile ferroelectric material renowned for its exceptional electro-optic, nonlinear optical, and piezoelectric properties, making it ideal for various applications. It serves as an excellent optical waveguide material and is used in the production of medium and low-frequency Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) filters, as well as high-power, high-temperature-resistant ultrasonic transducers.
The ongoing development focus for LiNbO3 as the next-generation SAW and optical material revolves around producing larger diameter wafers to meet manufacturers' demands. Hangzhou Freqcontrol Electronic Technology Ltd. takes pride in offering 8-inch LiNbO3 wafers in X-cut, Z-cut, and 128°Y-cut orientations. These wafers find applications in thin-film technology, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications, and traditional SAW applications.
In addition to standard wafers, we also produce Free-pyro black LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 wafers prepared through chemical reduction under a mixed CO2 and H2 atmosphere. These reduced wafers exhibit nearly eliminated pyroelectric effects while retaining their piezoelectric properties, allowing them to neutralize electrical charges instantaneously.
For applications demanding high-power lasers, we offer magnesium oxide-doped crystals (MgO:LiNbO3) with a higher Laser Damage Threshold. Importantly, the doping process does not compromise the optical properties of the crystal.
At Hangzhou Freqcontrol Electronic Technology Ltd., we are committed to providing innovative solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers across various industries.
