Europe Region Business Development Manager 2020

Casix Inc., is a leading supplier of standard and custom technical glass optics and crystal products for the laser, medical, industrial, R&D and telecommunication markets since 1992. Casix with more than 1300 employees (today) has long experience in the photonics market and we can offer the full spectrum of glass and crystal products as well as fiber optic components and assemblies. Often these optics are dielectric coated in our well-equipped inhouse coating department.

We are looking for a highly motivated sales manager to join our team in Europe as Europe Regional Sales Manager (EU is split into four regions). Your primary mission will be focused on proactively identifying, developing and driving new business opportunities, with new and existing customers, contacting them to discover opportunities and using incoming lead qualification and quotation follow-up techniques, in your assigned region. Your ability to build strong customer relationships will be crucial. You will have a demonstrated ability to penetrate large accounts and have a successful track record. You will be a self-starter who employs the industry’s best practices for selling, negotiating and influencing. In this role, you will work constructively with the Casix’s executive management, insides sales team, operations, and engineering to grow the business. Main work is from home office. The business travel in your region will take app 30 % of your working time.
You must have experience in glass optics, crystals or fiber optic products sales and you know the who is who in optics / photonics market (commercial lasers, surveying optics, medical, instrumentation optics, telecom optics etc.). Your optics knowledge must span custom glass optics and crystal optics.
You are ready to take ownership of the Annual Sales Plan and meet the quarterly targets for your assigned region.
BS Degree or MS Degree in Physics, Optics or related discipline would be an advantage. At least 3 years of sales management experience in the optics photonics industry is required.

The position is compensated with a very competitive base salary and additional attractive commissions. Additionally communication, travel cost, car allowance and others monthly expenses will be covered by the company.
