It covers future topics in the field of new technologies, new manufacturing processes and new machines for optotechnology. On the one hand, research results flow directly into product developments and practical system solutions. On the other hand, young people gain direct contact with actual practice and relevant companies. SPECTARIS, the German Industry Association for Optics, Photonics, Analytical and Medical Technology in Berlin, also takes advantage of Optatec as a valuable communication and education platform: two workshops are being prepared for the 15th of May, 2024. The \u201cWorkshop on new developments in the DIN Standards Committee for Precision Mechanics and Optics (NAFuO)\u201d, organised by DIN and SPECTARIS, will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Optical technologies are recognised as a cultural heritage which is worthy of protection.\u201d Optatec\u2019s topics are becoming increasingly important in all industrial and non-industrial sectors. Driven by growing quality requirements, as well as increasing levels of automation, digitalisation, miniaturisation and the use of autonomous systems, optical technologies are gaining significance and are indispensable in many areas of life.<\/p>\n

Optatec is held regularly once every two years and serves as the ultimate meeting place for the optics and image processing sectors.
