The PEAK XNIR offers a very high throughput due to a retroreflective advanced optical design, a high efficiency transmission grating, and a high NA of 0.22. The retroreflective design allows for a compact form factor of approximately 63 mm x 50 mm x 77 mm with high resolution and sensitivity as well as environmental ruggedness. The wavelength range is 1650 – 2400 nm, and the resolution of 10 nm is one of the best for this type of spectrometer on the market.

The PEAK XNIR is supplied with control electronics and uses Ibsen’ XNIR Evaluation Software for Windows with advanced column and Hadamard scan functions for improved signal to noise ratio. You can program your own software using an HDI standard interface and read/write operations to the FPGA register.
PEAK utilizes Ibsen’s high efficiency fused silica transmission gratings combined with the DLP technology from Texas Instruments in order to provide the spectral programmability.
“Near infrared spectroscopy designers are being challenged to develop applications that can quickly gather detailed material information with high throughput and a high degree of accuracy,” said Frank Moizio, general manager of TI DLP Pico display and light control. “Ibsen was able to utilize DLP technology as a programmable wavelength selector in Ibsen’s new PEAK XNIR spectrometer platform to help gather real-time measurements with up to 10 nm accuracy.”
